• Drone X Pro Review – Does It Live Up To The Hype?

    Drone X Pro brief review
The Drone X Pro Review 2020 is a small foldable drone that comes with a decent camera and some cool features. It is a very light drone and feels fragile so it is not suitable for flying in any kind of windy conditions. The drone is actually a clone of the more famous and less expensive Eachine 58, its declared flight time is 10 minutes, although flight tests have shown that it is more likely to be around 6 minutes. Personally, I prefer the Eachine E58, which is cheaper and more reliable.

I really didn't want to do this review, but after seeing some ridiculous claims about the Drone X Pro via YouTube ads and other online outlets, I decided to write this review so people know exactly what they get if they decide to buy. this drone.

    Drone X Pro review
So in the YouTube ads, which I have seen for this drone, it states that this drone was developed by 2 engineers who used to be employees of a well known drone company.

They don't show the face of these so-called engineers or mention the drone company they used to work for, but their supposed motivation for developing the Drone X Pro was because other drone companies were charging too much for a similar type of drone.

It makes a few other claims that the design is revolutionary and seemingly indestructible. Now, I know that the ads are not from the actual company that sells the Drone X Pro, but from their affiliates, still, I think they should verify the claims of these ads because they are so misleading.

However, even the company's sales page is misleading, they claim that the Drone X Pro has been positively reviewed by some of the more well-known drone websites, but upon closer inspection I found out that these websites have not reviewed the drone.

Now that my mini-rant is over I will briefly review this drone, however if you think you have read enough and want a better alternative to the Drone X Pro, click the button below to get the best drones for under $ 100.

The drone looks good, it is a much better clone of the Eachine E58, which itself is a kind of clone of the more advanced and expensive Mavic Pro.

It is a foldable drone and has a nice metallic gray color scheme, it is not very heavy, I think it weighs less than 100g, so if you decide to buy it (which I would not recommend) you will not need to register the drone if you live in the UK, Canada or the United States.

Foldable drones are actually my favorite type of drones, they are easy to transport and great for travel. If you are interested in buying a good foldable drone, check out this article.

As you would expect, it comes with brushed motors, so it is not suitable for flying in any kind of windy conditions.

It has some great LED lights on the front, although I don't think they are powerful enough to fly this drone in the dark. The drone has a flight time of around 10 minutes, which is standard for drones that cost less than $ 100 but not very revolutionary, is it?

It is a toy drone, there is no need to make exaggerated claims about it.

The drone is powered by a 3.7v 600 mAh battery and fits perfectly in the back of the drone. As it only provides 10 minutes of flight time, I would have advised you to buy a couple of extra batteries to increase the flight time (if you decide to buy this drone, no matter what the review says), but the website does not. give you options to buy additional batteries.

The remote control looks exactly like the remote on the Eachine E58, it has a minimal design, which I actually like and it comes for take off / landing and on the top there are buttons for taking videos and photos.

It runs on 3 AA batteries which are not included in the package and has a range of around 100 meters and if you use the FPV, its range is around 50 meters. On the sales page it says the range is 2km, which is ridiculous, I don't even know why they make this claim.

You can also fly the drone through the FHDFPV app that is available on the Google Play Store. This is actually a decent app and it has a nice and easy to use interface. Through the app, you get access to some of the drone's more advanced features, such as voice control, gesture control, and smart flight modes.

    Drone X Pro Camera
One of my favorite features of any drone is its camera, they allow you to see the world from a different perspective and it is always nice to see your favorite places from above.

The Drone X Pro comes with a decent camera, it's a camera you'd expect in a drone that costs less than $ 100. So despite what you see in those YouTube ads or on the product sales page, this drone doesn't. You can take professional level videos and pictures.

There is nothing professional about this camera, it does not have a gimbal and the live video streaming is not of the best quality, I have seen better on similarly priced drones.

However, if you ignore the claims on your sales page, for less than $ 100 it's a decent camera and you can still have a little fun with it.

    Other features
Like many drones, the Drone X Pro comes with some cool features that are a lot of fun to play with. It has a button that will make it do 360 ° turns and it has a couple of intelligent flight modes that will allow you to fly the drone hands-free.

The drone also has altitude control and its default flight mode is headless mode, which is good for beginners as it is easier to fly.

    Final thoughts
This is a decent drone, it flies well and most of the features work as they should, the flight time is a bit disappointing as you only get around 6 minutes when the official time is 10 minutes. Would you recommend people to buy this drone? If it cost the same as the Eachine E58, which is around $ 35 at Banggood, I would have, but it costs just under $ 100 and just isn't worth it.
